Who we are
John Chivers Golf Coaching provides golf coaching, custom fitting and gift vouchers at Brampton Heath Golf Centre. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at john@johnchiversgolfcoaching.co.uk or on 07970 833720.
The information we collect
- Enquiry details: your name, email address, phone number and the content of any message you send us through the website.
- Booking and order details: the information needed to arrange a lesson or fulfil a gift voucher order, including any recipient details you give us.
- Payment information: payments are handled by PayPal. We receive confirmation of payment and an order reference, but we never see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: basic information needed for the website to work securely.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiries and provide the coaching, fitting or vouchers you ask for, on the basis of taking steps at your request and performing our contract with you.
- To process gift voucher orders and send booking confirmations and reminders, to perform our contract with you.
- To keep records of orders and correspondence, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the business and meeting our legal obligations.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as PayPal for payments and our email and hosting providers, and where the law requires it.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies that the website and its forms need to work. With your consent we may also use cookies to understand how the site is used. You can accept or limit non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page. The map on our Find Us page only loads from Google Maps if you choose to load it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order information only as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting requirements. After that it is securely deleted.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or ask us to delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability.
