Meet John
John joined the Brampton Heath professional team in August 2016 after 20 years as a professional at Cold Ashby Golf Club, and is available for both coaching and custom fitting. He represented his club and county as an amateur and still enjoys playing as well as coaching. His friendly manner lets golfers learn in a fun, relaxed environment, whether a beginner, experienced player or professional.
John has a real interest in Tri-Service coaching and enjoys helping the Armed Forces improve their game. He teaches from beginner to advanced for the Pro Jam set-up, covering up to 20 courses a year.
He constantly updates his knowledge at PGA seminars with expert instructors from around the world. A simple swing is an efficient swing, creating consistency, accuracy and power, and John uses this to help golfers of all abilities, from amateur to county and professional level.
His lessons are relaxed and jargon free, built around the way you play and what you want from your golf. You will always leave with a few clear, simple things to work on.
